- What the site is. Smoky Mountain Pressure Wash is a marketing and booking service for exterior washing in Knoxville, TN and nearby towns. Independent local contractors do the washing.
- Prices on the site. The ranges on our cost pages come from national consumer guides and are there to help you plan. They are not offers. Your price is the one we agree with you for your property before any work starts.
- Your quote. A quote covers the surfaces it names. If you add something on the day, we'll agree that price with you first. A quote isn't binding on you until you say yes.
- Getting the property ready. You agree to give access to the areas being washed, a working outside water spigot unless we've arranged otherwise, and to move vehicles and anything fragile. You tell us about loose siding, damaged boards, open vents or anything else that could be hurt by water.
- Licensing. Tennessee has no state licence for pressure washing. Contractors operate under county business licences and state business tax registration. You're always entitled to ask the contractor for their business licence and certificate of insurance before they start.
- Methods. Siding, shingle roofs, stucco and painted surfaces are cleaned with a low-pressure soft wash. Wash water is kept out of storm drains, in line with Knox County's stormwater rules.
- Weather. Rain, lightning and freezing temperatures can move a job. Rescheduling for weather is free.
- Results. Washing removes what's on a surface. It won't repair cracks, fix faded or chalky paint, or always erase old oil and rust stains. We'll say so up front when we expect a stain to lighten rather than disappear.
- Payment. Residential jobs are paid when the work is finished. Commercial work is invoiced on terms agreed in writing.
- Problems. If something isn't right, tell us within a week of the job and we'll come back to look. The full process is in our complaints policy.
- The website itself. We try to keep the information here accurate, but it is general information. Our disclaimer explains the limits.
- Changes. We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when.
